Pregmate App
Ovulation test scanner
Stop second-guessing faint lines. Start tracking with confidence.
You know exactly where you are.
The Pregmate app scans your ovulation test strip, reads the result automatically, and saves it to your cycle timeline.
Ovulation tests aren't always obvious. Lines are faint, lighting changes, and it's hard to remember if yesterday's test was darker than today's. The scanner takes the subjectivity out of it. You get a clear result every time, in the same format, regardless of the light in your bathroom.
Here's what's different:
- Guided scanning so every photo is consistent, regardless of lighting
- Automatic positive or negative result, plus a T/C ratio that shows how close you are to your LH peak
- Every scan saved automatically with date, cycle day, and fertile window context
- All your tests in one place, in order, so you can see how your surge builds and drops
Why 98% of Pregmate app users scan their tests
Because guessing isn’t a plan when timing matters.
The scanner removes the guesswork:
✓ Automatic interpretation: No more "is this positive?" anxiety
✓ Numeric T/C ratio: See exactly how line strength changes day to day
✓ Test history: compare today's result to yesterday's, last week's, or last cycle's
✓ Fertile window context: Each result placed on your cycle timeline, so you always know where you stand

Real stories, real results
I have used 3 different ovulation test brands and by far pregmate is the best! Every time I use pregmate I get a clear and accurate reading. Using the app along with the test strips is super easy and no confusion if the test is positive or negative. I am trying to conceive a baby and I pray that pregmate will get me there 👍🏽
I love that you can take a picture of the test strips. It makes it so easy for somebody that is just starting their journey like me. I would really recommend it. You can just buy the test strips on Amazon and download the app.
I love this app so far because it’s easy to use and navigate through. It uses your camera to take a picture of the strips and predicts your ovulation more accurately than my other app. A few nurses recommended it to me at work.

The number that tells the whole story
T/C ratio: your personal ovulation fingerprint
Everyone's LH surge looks different. Some people get dark, obvious lines. Others have subtler surges that are easy to miss.
The T/C ratio compares the intensity of the test line to the control line and gives you a number. The higher the number, the stronger your LH signal.
The T/C ratio is a number that lets you:
- Track your personal surge pattern
- Identify your actual peak, even if lines never get super dark
- Compare across cycles to see if patterns shift
- Share precise data with your doctor if needed
The T/C ratio shows you exactly when your surge started, peaked, and ended. That's your personal pattern — and it looks different from everyone else's.
Your data stays yours

One more thing
We know you've probably tried a lot of things already. Apps, tests, timing, supplements, tracking everything possible.
And we know how frustrating it is when nothing seems to work the way it's supposed to.
This app won't fix everything. It won't make you ovulate if you're not ovulating. It won't guarantee pregnancy.
But it will give you one thing: clarity.
Clear results. Clear data. Clear next steps.
And sometimes, that's all you need to keep going 💗
Ovulation test scanner: frequently asked questions
An ovulation test scanner is an app feature that reads LH test strips using your phone camera, calculates a T/C ratio — the ratio of test line to control line intensity — and interprets the result automatically, without relying on visual judgment.
Start testing 3-4 days before you expect to ovulate. For a 28-day cycle, that's usually around Day 11. If your cycles are irregular, start testing earlier (Day 8-9) to make sure you don't miss your surge.
Test once a day in the afternoon (between 2-8pm) until you see your T/C ratio start to rise. Once it starts climbing, test twice a day to catch your peak.
The scanner has over 95% accuracy in detecting test lines and calculating T/C ratios, based on internal testing under standard conditions. Accuracy depends on good lighting, proper positioning, and quality test strips. The scanner is more accurate than reading tests by eye because it measures objective light intensity instead of relying on visual interpretation.
Some people have lower or more subtle LH surges — and that’s completely normal. A positive test is typically when the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. But your personal peak may not always look dramatic.
If you see your T/C ratio rise toward 0.8–1.0 and then drop over the next day or two, that rise-and-fall pattern may indicate your surge — even if the test line never appears very dark.
Tracking across a few cycles helps you understand what “peak” looks like for you.
You can use the scanner if you have PCOS or irregular cycles, but ovulation tests may be more difficult to interpret in these cases.
Ovulation test strips detect LH surges. An LH surge often precedes ovulation, but it does not always confirm that ovulation occurred.
With PCOS, LH levels may be consistently elevated or fluctuate more frequently, which can lead to multiple rises in LH during a cycle. Tracking changes in your T/C ratio over time may help you better understand your personal pattern.
If you have PCOS or concerns about ovulation, consider discussing tracking methods with your healthcare provider.
No. Scan as many or as few tests as you want. The more tests you scan, the more complete your Test History will be, making it easier to compare T/C ratios across days and spot patterns in your cycle.
Some people scan every test. Others start scanning when they believe they’re approaching their surge. Both approaches can work — consistency just makes patterns easier to see.
Yes. Your test images and results are completely private and only visible to you. Pregmate stores your data securely and never shares it with third parties without your explicit consent.
You can delete test images and results at any time.
If the lighting is too dim, the test is positioned incorrectly, or the lines are too faint, the app will ask you to retake the photo.
Make sure:
- Your test is on a flat white surface
- The lighting is bright and even (natural light works best)
- The camera is focused and the test lines are clear
- You're holding the phone steady
If the app still can't read the test, you can log the result manually, your tracking history stays complete either way.
Yes. You can share your saved test photos and T/C ratios with your doctor.
Some healthcare providers may find this information helpful when reviewing your cycle patterns or discussing ovulation timing. These results can serve as additional context alongside other clinical evaluations.
